インスタのおかげで英語の流行語や若者言葉になんとかついて行けているような気がします。 その中で結構気に入った単語があります。 それはunc（おっさん）とauntie（おばちゃん）です。（笑） uncはuncleの略です。そしてauntieはauntの愛称で、昔からある単語です。 いずれも本来、親戚を指すのが一般的でしたが、今では全ての中年男性、女性に対して使われるようになりつつあります。 これまでは中年男女に対して使う「おじさん」や「おばさん」にぴったりハマるような英語はなかった気がしますが、もしuncとauntieが今後定着することになったら、「おじさん・おばさん」をよりスムーズに英語に訳せると思います。😆
