Prime Minister Takaichi's statement

Following Prime Minister Takaichi's statement that "a crisis in Taiwan could pose an existential threat," the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that it would urge people to refrain from traveling to Japan. The news is generally describing China's stance as "troubling," but aren't you all forgetting something? The thing that no one is questioning is that Takaichi's statement that "a crisis in Taiwan could pose an existential threat" is actually a much more dangerous statement for the Japanese people. Since the time of Prime Minister Abe, and even longer since the post-war era of Abe's grandfather, Japan has pursued a policy of maintaining Japan under close military protection from the United States, and Prime Minister Takaichi has clearly communicated this to the world. All she has done is signal Japan's intention to continue fighting wars as a vassal state of the United States. Isn't it really problematic that such a bellicose prime minister is representing the Japanese people? People who start wars always claim that they are fighting to protect their country. It should be known that her remarks this time are a variant of this argument.

高市総理大臣が「台湾有事は存立危機事態になり得る」という発言を受けて、中国外務省は、日本への渡航を自粛するよう求めると発表しました。 ニュース等は、中国の姿勢について「困ったものだ」という論調ですが、皆さん、何か忘れていませんか？ 本当は、高市総理が「台湾有事は存立危機事態になり得る」と発言したことの方がもっと日本人にとって危険な発言であることを誰も問題にしない事です。 安倍首相の頃から、もっと言えば戦後、安倍首相のおじいちゃんの時代から、日本はアメリカとの緊密な軍事庇護のもと日本を成立させる政策をとって来ていて、高市総理がそれを明確に世界に向けて発信した、ということです。 これからも日本はアメリカの属国として戦争をしていきますよという意思表示をした、と言うだけの事です。 こんな好戦的な首相が日本人の代表だという事こそ問題にすべきなのではないでしょうか。 戦争を始める人は必ず、国を守るために戦争をするのだと主張します。 今回の彼女の発言はこの主張の亜流だという事を知るべきです。
