Spring Has Come

According to the Weather Office's classification, June 1 marks the start of the spring season. Today, June 3, it’s cloudy. I’m going on a two-day trip to Izumi with my wife and her older sister. It’s an annual spring event to honor their late father. We stayed at the Royal Park Hotel.  The rain that fell during the night had cleared by the next morning. After breakfast, we sat at a table on the edge of the garden and enjoyed our coffee for about an hour. We talked about their father. It was a nice day in his memory.

気象庁の分類によると、6月1日が春の始まりの日です。 今日6月3日は曇り。 妻とその姉と3人で泉に2日間の旅行に行ってくる。 彼女らの亡き父を偲ぶ春の恒例行事だ。 宿泊はロイヤルパークホテル。 夜中に降った雨は翌朝には上がっていた。 朝食後、私たちは庭の隅のテーブルに座り、1時間ほどコーヒーを楽しんだ。 父親の話に花が咲いた。 父を偲ぶいい一日だった。
