Is the degital memo pad eco-friendly?

I bought a digital memo pad a month ago. Before then, I had written my note on the blank side of printed papers. I thought how I come to be eco eco-friendly by changing the paper to digital memos. Generally, the CO2 emissions is calculated by its weight. CO2 emissions(kg)  = the weight of paper(kg) ×　0.35  One sheet of A4 paper weighs 5g, and I used 2 sheets of paper every day. I used 3.650 kg of paper a year. That means 3.65×0.35=1.28 kg, I used to emit 1.28 kg of CO2 every year by using memo paper. As the consumption of energy for the electric memo pad is nearly zero, I can say I’m contributing SDGs. When I told this to my wife, she said, “You need to be concerned about the expense of producing the digital memo pad.”

1ヶ月前にデジタルメモパッドを購入しました。 それまでは、印刷された紙の白紙にメモを書いていました。 紙をデジタルメモに変えることで、どれだけエコになるか考えました。 一般的に、CO2排出量は紙の重さで計算されます。 CO2排出量(kg) = 紙の重さ(kg) × 0.35 A4用紙1枚は5gで、私は毎日2枚使っていました。 年間3.650kgの紙を使っていました。 つまり、3.65×0.35=1.28kg、つまりメモ用紙を使うことで年間1.28kgのCO2を排出していたことになります。 電子メモパッドの消費電力はほぼゼロなので、SDGsに貢献していると言えるでしょう。 妻にこのことを話したら、「デジタルメモパッドの製造コストを気にしなきゃ」と言われました。
