Enko-mai

Do you know "Enko-mai"? Enko-mai is rice that rice farmers give to their relatives. This amount of rice is not published because it doesn't go through the economic market. I often go to a small restaurant near my home. I hear that the rice in my favorite restaurant uses the enko-mai. It makes sense for the restaurant to offer lunch at such a reasonable price. It is out of the control of capitalist economic rules. The TV news is loud about the shortage and increase of rice these days. Someone says that the reason is because of this enko-mai. However, I think it is a good thing that there is something out of capitalism.

「縁故米」って知ってますか？ 縁故米とは、米農家が親戚にあげるお米のことです。 このお米の量は、経済市場を通らないので公表されません。 私はよく近所の小さなレストランに行きます。 私の行きつけのレストランのお米は、縁故米を使っているそうです。 レストランがランチをこんなにリーズナブルな価格で提供するのは、納得できます。 資本主義の経済ルールでは制御できないことです。 最近、テレビのニュースでは、お米が不足したり値上がりしたりと騒がれています。 原因はこの縁故米のせいだと言う人もいます。 しかし、私は資本主義から外れたものがあっていいと思っています。
