I Ate 8 Different Type of Steam Rice　８種類のご飯を食べた

I joined a survey as a consumer monitor. 消費者モニターの調査に参加した。 I ate eight different types of steam rice and rated the appearance, texture and taste. ８種類のご飯を食べて、見た目、食感、味について評価した。 I guess a rice cooker’s manufacturer may organize this survey, so the same rice would be cooked by different cookers. 炊飯器メーカーがこの調査をやっているといると思うので、同じ米が違う炊飯器で炊かれているのだろう。 I was not able to see the difference, and every sample tasted good. 違いがわからなくて、どれもおいしかった。 Since the participants were used to eating rice with some pickles or miso soupe, it was unusual to keep eating rice with water. 参加者はご飯を漬物とか味噌汁と食べることに慣れているから、水と一緒にご飯を食べ続けるのは変な感じだった。 Consumer monitor surveys usually take place in a small building in the center of Tokyo, but this event was held at a public community center in Meguro Ward. 消費者モニターの調査は、いつも東京都心の小さなビルで開かれるが、このい麺とは目黒区の公立のコニュニティーセンターで行われた。 The building was built in 1974, so it is very old, but I felt nostalgic because it reminded me when I was an elementary student. そのビルは、１９７４年に建てられたので、とても古いが、私は小学生時代を思い出して懐かしかった。 Meguro Ward Assembly was planning to rebuild the venue, but due to the recent price hike, it won't happen for a while. 目黒区議会は、この施設を再開発しようとしたが、近ごろの物価高で、しばらく実現しないようだ。
