    My father's short term memory has declined because of his old age. 父の短期的な記憶が老化で悪くなった。 He can vividly remember what happened when he was young, but he can't remember his care worker's name that he meets every day. 若かった頃の記憶はよく覚えているが、毎日会うケアワーカーの名前が覚えられない。 I'm 59 years old, and I'm worried about my memory. 私は59歳だが、記憶が心配だ。 I quit my job in order to look after my parents, so I have no social engagement right now. 両親の世話の為、仕事をやめたので、社会との繋がりが今はな When I worked, my brain was stimulated, and I felt that blood in my brain was circulating well, and my decision making ability improved. 働いていた時は、脳が刺激されて、脳の血流がよくて、決断能力がよかった。 I was always tense, so the fight and flight mode made me feel stressed as well. いつも緊張していたので、戦うか、逃げるかのモードがストレスでもあった。 I feel nostalgic for those days. その日々が懐かしい。 Yesterday, I didn't feel like studying English because I don't have a chance to use English in my daily life. 昨日は英語の勉強をする気にならなかった。実生活で英語を使う機会がなから。 However, one day passed, my mind has become a bit clear, and I feel refreshed. しかし、一日経って、脳は、ちょっと鮮明になって、スッキリした気分だ。 I heard that sleep can remove unnecessary information and make things sort out. 睡眠が不必要な情報を取り除いて、物事を整理すると聞いた。 I also leant that doing nothing is helpful for soothing your busy mind. 何もしないことも、落ち着かない頭を落ち着かせるのに役立つらしい。
