Recreation at a Nursing Home 老人ホームのリクリエーション

My father moved in a new nursing home three weeks ago. 父は３週間前に新しい老人ホームへ移った。 Although I chose this nursing home after visiting twenty facilities, I found many things in this place that don't meet my demand.  ２０か所の老人ホームを見学した後、このホームを選んだものの、希望に合わない多くの事をこの施設で発見した。 The staff members do minimal cares for him, so he spends most of his time alone. スタッフが最低限の事しか父にやってくれないので、父はほとんど時間独りで過ごしている。 Whenever I ask them to do something for him, I have to wait for a long time or what seems like a temporarily employee helps him do with without any explanation. スタッフに何か頼むと待たされて、臨時職員が何の説明もなく、父の世話をする。 I expected that the regular staff members would give him some advice or suggestion that make his quality of life better. 正規の職員が父に助言や父の生活の質がよくなる提案をすると期待していた。 Instead, they encouraged him to buy extra nursing care products or recommended joining some recreation to him. 代わりに、職員は、追加の介護要員を買う事やレクリエーションを勧めた。 These are not included taking a walk with a group nor doing exercise. これらには、集団で散歩するとか運動することは含まれていない。 Yesterday, the staff members let my father join a famous traditional ballad singer's online concert the other day. 昨日は、スタッフが父に有名な演歌歌手のオンラインコンサートに参加させた。 I didn't know that the concert was 3000 yen. 私はそれが３０００円すると知らなかった。
