My father moved into a new nursing home.
He has moved around three times for three months since he got injured.
Since I heard that elderly people are likely to be disoriented when their environment changes, I thought he would develop dementia, but so far he is stable.
He is trying hard to adjust to new environment, which touched me.
I realized that at any nursing homes, you are required to do things with a group while following some rules regardless you like it or not.
Personally, I prefer to do things alone at my own pace, so if I were in a nursing home, I would feel stressed.
However, I have no choice when I become unable to look after myself.
My father spent a night yesterday for the first time at the new nursing home, so I am going to see him today.
I haven't been prepared enough things for him, but first of all, I would like to listen to what he wants.
