[h3]Demasking: [i]Some thoughts about authenticity[/i] (Revised)[/h3] [i]A voice of doubt:[/i] If I I laid bare my true self, would you still accept me?  Could you overlook my stubbornness and forgive my ennui?  Would you tolerate my sloppiness and endure my stormy mood swings?  Can you accept me, knowing I am imperfect and in many ways incomplete? [i]A voice of affirmation:[/i] Who you are is evolving, and love is a process of discovery. For the sake of others, love yourself then see the unity of all beings. Love is not a state of perfection,  but way of accepting imperfections with equanimity. The universe becomes richer as we open our hearts. Why close yourself off, clinging to a sense of inadequacy?
