Making a Short Story in English

I asked ChatGPT5 to give me four sentences consisting of a short story. I'd like wite them in English.  I ran to the station and fortunately caught the train.  When I arrived at the office, I found that an important meeting had been canceled. I decided to use the time to spend at a nearby cafe with a colliegue. Unexpectedly, I enjoyed the day.
