Enjoyed Arita Pottery Market

A friend invited me to Arita Pottery Market in Saga Prefecture for the first time. There were about 130 vendors on both sides of the street, so I had hard time deciding which one to go into. The friend comes here every year, so she went straight to a familiar vendor and bought the tableware she wants. I bought a teapot, a vase and a plate that I liked at the vendor I happened to walk into.  I wasn't very interested in this event before I went, though it was so fun that I want to go again next year.

友達に誘われ佐賀県の有田陶器市に初めて行った。約１３０の店が道の両側に出ていたので、どの店に入るかかなり悩んだ。友達は毎年来ているのでなじみの店に直行し、お目当ての器を買っていた。私は偶然入った店で気に入った急須と花瓶、お皿を買った。キッチンカーもたくさん出ていてお祭りのようだった。行くまではあまり興味はなかったが、また来年も行きたくなるほど楽しかった。
