New Japanese Banknotes Today, July 3rd, new designs for banknotes were issued in Japan. The new banknotes incorporate "3D holograms" as an advanced anti-counterfeiting technology. "3D holograms" are a technology where portraits and patterns change depending on the viewing angle, and this is the first time it has been introduced in banknotes in the world. It has been 20 years since the last time the banknotes were redesigned. However, as cashless payments have become widespread worldwide, these might be the final version of Japanese banknotes. Incidentally, the newly issued banknotes are 1,000 yen, 5,000 yen, and 10,000 yen. Although the 2,000 yen note exists, it was not redesigned this time. 

新しい紙幣 今日、7月3日、日本では新しいデザインの紙幣が発行されました。 高度な偽装防止技術として、「3Dホログラム」が採用されたものとなっています。 「3Dホログラム」は見る角度によって肖像や模様が変化する技術のことで、紙幣に導入されたのは世界初であるとのことです。 今回、20年ぶりの改札となりますが、世界的にはキャッシュレス決済が浸透しつつあるため、これが日本の紙幣の最終版となるかもしれません。 ちなみに、新たに発行されたのは千円、五千円、一万円の3券種です。 二千円札も存在しますが、改札されませんでした。
