Yesterday, my husband and I went to see the movie "Glory Back home," which is based on the true story of former Hanshin Tigers player Shintaro Yokota.
Ever since I heard the movie would be released on November 28th, I have been looking forward to watching it.
I invited my husband to go, but he refused at first. He said that that was because he would probably cry and would be embarrassed.
However, I convinced him to go. We booked the seats online beforehand. We hadn't been to the theater to see the movie for many years, so we didn't know how much one ticket cost, but it wasn't very expensive.
We knew the general plot of the movie, but every scene was so moving that we couldn't stop crying.
Shintaro Yokota only lived for 28 years, but I believe his life was truly remarkable. His life touched many people, and I believe it will continue to do so.
The movie's theme song was Yuzu's “Bridge of Glory,” which played every time Shitaro Yokota stepped up to the plate.
The song is also very moving. Every time it plays, I feel like I'm about to cry.
I hope many people will watch the movie and learn something important from his life.
