Sweet Potatoes Are Missing

As I wrote in my entry before, my memories have been getting worse lately.  On Monday, I found a flyer for a drugstore called Sundrug tucked into the newspaper. It always comes with two detachable 15% discount coupons. Since it featured many affordable items, I planned to take those coupons with me. I couldn't go on Monday, but I wanted to go on Tuesday, so I wanted to check what to buy on Monday night.  However, I forgot where I put the flyer. I searched everywhere. My husband looked through old newspapers and flyers, but we couldn't find it. I began to wonder if I had seen that flyer. My husband said he had only glanced at it, yet he insisted he had definitely seen it. Well, I usually wrap kitchen garbage in two sheets of old newspaper and put them in a plastic bag to throw away. On Tuesday morning, when I opened Monday's newspaper to take out two sheets, I found that flyer. I had no memory at all of slipping a flyer into the newspaper. By the way, I've been looking for a bag of sweet potatoes since Sunday. I bought them for Sunday dinner, but I realized that they were gone. I haven't found them yet. They were not expensive, so it's okay, but I hope I will be able to find them before they go bad.
