I Have a Question

English
I was reading some English entries. I like reading native English speakers' corrections because I can learn from them.
Some people correct the same sentence in various ways. It's interesting to learn different ways to express a sentence.
Just now I read an entry. Two native English speakers corrected the entry.
I have a quetion about the sentence below:
"I'm staying with my elderly mother who is assistance required."
They changed "who is assistance required to "who needs/requires help," but neither of the native English speakers added a comma after "mother."
I thought it should be written in the non-restrictive mannar, so a comma would be necessary.
However, since the two native speakers didn't add a comma, I'm not confident about adding a comma either.
