A One-Day Bus Tour

On Sunday, my husband and I went on a one-day bus tour organized by the paper insurance association that my husband's company belongs to.  The bus trip is held every year at this time. Last year, we visited the Hanshin Tigers studiam and Chinatown in Kobe. We had lunch in a Chinese restaurant and it was very good.  This year, we went to Kada Onsen in Wakayama, the nothern area of Wakayama. I'm originally from Wakayama, but my hometown is in southern area, so I've never visited Kada Onsen. It was close to the ocean, so we expected to eat different kinds of delicious seafood that we couldn't get at home. Sashimi was good, but other dishes were nothing special. Every time my husband ate a dish, he said mine tasted better. I ate up all the dishes, including a bowl of rice, but I was surprised that the quality of the rice was really poor.  We still eat old rice at home, but I felt that the rice we eat at home was much better than the rice there. It was a bit disappointing, but since the weather was nice, we enjoyed exploring the places we visited. There were two elderly sisters who participated in the tour every year. I enjoyed talking with them. At the end of the tour, we promised to see each other next year again.  It was a nice day.
