Visit to Our Friends

On Sunday, my friend who lives near me and I went to see our friends in Suma, Hyogo. We have been friends since high school. The friends living in Suma are a couple.  Since the wife has been suffering from an uncurable illness, they moved to a nursing home last October. We visited them in May, and this was the second time visiting them.  The nursing home is a wonderful facility, and their room is very nice too. The room is not as spacious as their previous apartment, though.  When we visited last time, they treated us to lunch at the facility's restaurant in the facility, but this time, they served us lunch in their room. Since the wife can't move around freely, her husband hundled most of work. Actually, she used to be bossy even when she was healthy. Her husband always listens to her and follows her instructions. In our group, there used to be two more friends, a man and a woman, but they passed away many years ago.  We talked about various things, including our friends who passed away. A friend who lives near me brought some old photos. I wasn't in those photos, but they were.  Her husband looked completely different because he doesn't have much hair now. While reminiscing about the old days, we laughed a lot. Before my friend and Ieft their room, we took some photos together. We promised to visit them again in the near future.  I hope her illness doesn't progress too quickly.
