    A Quick Question

A couple of days ago, I came accross a sentence included "myself." A native English speaker said the sentence was perfect, but I wondered about the usage of myself.  Here's the sentence: Many staff members, including myself, are coughing in the office. I thought "myself" would be used when the subject is "I".   Do you use "myself" even if the subject is not "I"?  Now I wonder when I use "including me"
