String Beans

My husband and I went to the farm yesterday.  On Friday night, we wondered which day we should go there on Saturday or Sunday because the weatherman predicted it would rain on both day.  Cheking the weather forecast late at night, we decided to go early on Saturday. We woke up at 5, had a quick breakfast, and left home at 5:40.  We arrived at the farm around 6:40. Fortunately, it hadn't started raining yet.  Grass had grown very tall in some parts of the farm. As soon as we arrived, my husband started cutting grass and I started picking string beans.  Last Saturday, we harvested quite a few string beans, but I saw them even more had grown since then. String beans are a bit expensive to buy at the supermarket, so I was happy to harvest so many. After I finshed harvesting them, I picked some apricots and plums and cut some grass around the blueberry trees. I was happy to see a lot of bluberries on those trees. They were not ripe yet, but I'm sure some of them will ripe in a week or so.   Around at 10, it started raining, but it wasn't a heavy rain, so we kept working for 30 minutes. We stopped working around 10:30 and left there before 11. We were happy that we were able to work for four hours. Today, I'm going to make string bean tempura. We can eat as many pieces of string bean tempura as we want.
