    It or That?

I'm writing on my iPad, so I will just ask a question.  I read the following sentence: To stabilize rice prices, the government has released some of its stockpiled rice, but none of it has reached stores in my town. A native English speaker didn’t correct “none of it”, but another one corrected to “none of that”.  Actually, I’m still not sure which I should use in such a sentence. I would probably use “it” in the sentence.  There is another English speaker and he clicked a good button on “none of that.” Does “none of that” sound better or more natural, or is “none of it” wrong? I’m curious.
