Trip to Matsuyama 3

An hour before the bus was scheduled to depart, we returned to town from Matsuyama Castle. After killing some time at a coffee shop, we went to the bus stop. We bought rice balls for lunch and boarded the bus. The bus picked up passengers at several bus stops and left Matsuyama. We ate lunch and then I took a nap. I woke up just before the bus arrived at the rest stop. The driver said the bus would stop for 15 minutes. My husband and I got off and used the bathroom. There was a convenience store, so we went in to buy something.  There was a coffee machine at the entrance, and there was an advertisement for a chocolate shake with strawberries. It didn't say how much it cost, but I wanted to try it. I thought it was in the freezer of ice cream, but I couldn't find it. I asked a male clerk about it, and then he went to another place to get it. He handed it to me.  I didn't know the price, but I took it to the cashier. She explained how to make the shake with the coffee maker and said, “It's 498 yen." I was really shocked to hear the price, but more than that, I had to hurry to make it because the bus was about to leave.   Inside the cup was a very hard ice cream. I softened the ice cream a little by hand, put the cup in the machine, and the machine poured warm milk into it.  Then, my husband and I went back to the bus in a hurry. I had to stir it for a long time.  The taste was nothing special. There were a few small strawberry pieces in it, but they were nothing special either. I usually never shop at convenient stores because all the products are more expensive than supermarkets, but we didn't have enough time to look around the store to find it by ourselves. It was a mistake.  Well, we arrived in Osaka a little earlier than it was scheduled and came back home around 7:30 pm. It was a nice trip.  My husband wants to take a trip somewhere soon. I need to save money!
