Gossip

Since it was the end of the month, I was extremely busy and didn’t have much time to talk with my co-workers. Even during lunchtime, there were only a few people in the lunch room, so I enjoyed a quiet lunch break. In the afternoon, I went to another department to bring some documents. At that time, I met two colleagues and they started talking to me. At first, it was a simple greeting, but the conversation gradually turned into gossip about other people. I just kept silent because I don’t like that kind of talk. When I went back to my desk, I felt exhausted. I can’t understand why some people enjoy talking about gossip.
