Lost Items

One of my socks has been missing. I always hang my socks next to each other when I do a laundry, That’s why I noticed it right away. I looked around the washing machine, the balcony and everywhere I walked with the laundry, but I couldn’t find it. It is black, but knee-high sock, so I thought that it should be easy to find. I also lost a postcard that would give me 500 yen worth of points. I remember that last time I saw it was in the living room. This morning, I searched for it while I was cleaning the living room. I think I didn’t have any luck. I couldn’t find it either. I feel like things I lose often turn up when I stop searching or even forget about them.
