Watermelon

The other day, my sister bought a s watermelon only for her and my niece. I thought that she would share some with my father and me, but she told me it was just for them. Since then, I had been wanting to eat watermelon. Today, I bought one at the store and cut it into bite-sized pieces and divided it into containers. At first, I thought maybe my father and I could just eat it for ourselves, especially because of what happened the other day. However, I knew that I would regret being small-minded later, so I prepared some for my sister and niece. After lunch, when my father and I were about to eat the watermelon, he asked me if there was some for my sister and niece. I told him, “Of course, I prepared some for them too.” He is the type of person who always shares everything with us. I was glad I had decided not to be mean and shared the watermelon with them.
