Nike

One of my co-workers told me that he likes sneakers. He owns about 20 pairs of Nike shoes. I was very surprised to hear that some of popular sneakers are sold through a lottery system. He kept telling me that some of popular ones cost as much as 500,000 yen. Even if he won a chance to buy them, he wouldn’t afford to buy them. Therefore, he had never entered the popular shoes’ lotteries. I wonder what people do when they win. Do they actually wear the shoes or just display them?
