My friend told me a story. Her mother is a Japanese-Brazilian, so she has many relatives in Brazil. I don’t know exactly when, but her cousins visited to Japan for sightseeing. While they were here, they went to many places including downtown. Japan is quite a safe country, but it was a bad luck for them that they got robbed by bad guys. Those guys took them to a narrow street to take all the money her cousins had. In Brazil, they had never had such awful experiences. That's why they think Japan is a dangerous country compared to Brazil. I asked my friend how safe Brazil was. She said that many people don’t put on jewels and wrist watches because those items are often snatched by burglars.
