Hot Air Balloon

I rode in a hot air balloon yesterday. I've wanted to ride in it for a long time, but I couldn't do it because of strong winds or time constraints. I made a reservation for it about two weeks ago, and yesterday early morning it was too foggy, so I was worried whether I could ride or not. Fortunately, the fog cleared up even though it was still cloudy, and fog meant there was no wind.  When I arrived at the site, I was surprised how big it was from a close sight. It could hold five people. When we take a train, people get off first, and then others get on the train because it can do smoothly. However, for a hot air balloon, one person gets on first, and then the other one gets off, because the hot air balloon goes up when the basket becomes lighter.  The balloon went up to the height of a seven-story building. It was tied to cars on the ground, so it just went up and down. To be honest, I felt a little scared. My daughter felt more scared because she didn't like high places, even though she wanted to ride. I enjoyed the distant view and felt the fresh air at the height.

昨日、熱気球に乗りました。ずっと前から乗ってみたかったのですが、強風や時間の都合でなかなか実現できませんでした。約2週間前に予約したのですが、当日の早朝は霧が濃くて乗れるかどうか不安でした。幸いにも霧は晴れ、曇り空ではあったものの、霧があるということは風がないということだったので、乗ることができました。 現地に着いて近くで見ると、気球の大きさに驚きました。5人まで乗れるそうです。電車に乗るときはまず人が降りてから他の人が乗るのが普通ですが、熱気球の場合は1人が乗ってからもう1人が降ります。バスケットが軽くなると気球が浮かび上がってしまうからです。 気球は7階建てのビルくらいの高さまで上がりました。地上の車に係留してあるので、上下するだけでしたが、正直少し怖かったです。娘はもっと怖がっていました。高いところが苦手なのに、どうしても乗りたかったのです。私は遠くの景色を楽しみ、高いところで新鮮な空気を感じました。
