Are movies a typical topic in a language class?

I wrote two posts about movies. That's because I had to speak about them many times in English conversations with an AI on an app. I had talked about them with a real teacher in English class before, but I couldn't speak well. First of all, the Japanese title is sometimes different from the original English one, even though it looks like a direct translation from English one. I didn't have enough skills to talk about them, so I had to use simple words and expressions. After writing my two posts, I learned some expressions. I want to try more, but it's still difficult to write about more complicated movies.  I'll try again someday. 

語学のクラスで、映画はよくある話題ですか？ 映画について2つの投稿を書きました。というのも、アプリでAIと英語で何度もそれについて話さなければならなかったからです。 以前、英語の授業で本物の先生とも映画について話したことがありましたが、うまく自分の考えを伝えられませんでした。 そもそも、一見英語のタイトルをそのまま日本語のカタカナに置き換えたように見えても、日本語のタイトルが英語の元のタイトルと違うことがあるんです。 その映画について話すためのスキルが十分ではなかったので、簡単な単語や表現しか使えませんでした。 でも、2つの投稿を書いたことで、新しい表現をいくつか覚えました。 もっと挑戦したい気持ちはありますが、より複雑な映画について書くのはまだ難しいです。 いつかまた挑戦してみようと思います。
