Edward Scissorhands

It’s a bittersweet fantasy story. Johnny Depp plays as Edward, an artificial human created by a doctor. When the doctor died suddenly, Edward was left with scissors for hands.  One day a saleswoman visits the castle he lives and somehow he goes down to her home. Many people feel terrified of him, but the saleswoman’s daughter sees how he’s gentle and then falls in love with him. However, his scissorhands can trim garden trees beautifully, but he cannot hold her gently. At last, there are some troubles and he returned to the castle to stay away from the people. The ending is a little sad, but the scene shows that they still love each other, even though they are apart.  (I'm writing from memory, so some details might be a little different.) (Do I have to write them in the past tense all?)

『シザーハンズ』 これは、切なくも心温まるファンタジー物語です。 ジョニー・デップが演じるのはエドワード。彼はある博士によって作られた人造人間です。博士が突然亡くなったため、エドワードは手がハサミのまま残されてしまいます。 ある日、セールスウーマンが彼の住むお城を訪れ、なぜか彼女の家に一緒に行くことになります。多くの人々は彼を怖がりますが、そのセールスウーマンの娘だけは、彼の優しさに気づき、やがて彼に恋をします。 彼のハサミの手は庭木を美しく刈り込むことはできますが、彼女を優しく抱きしめることはできません。やがていくつかの問題が起こり、エドワードは人々から離れるために再びお城へと戻っていきます。 結末は少し切ないものですが、そのシーンからは、たとえ離れ離れになっても二人が今もお互いを愛していることが伝わってきます。 (記憶だけで書いているので少し内容は違っているかもしれません。） (全部過去形で書かなくちゃだめだったかしら？）
