Unnecessary word

Last morning, the TV horoscope said I was ranked lowest and warned me to watch my words. And then, I ended up blurting out, "The lucky item is beef stew!" and my family said, "We wanna eat it again after a long time!", so I had to make it. I think that was just an unnecessary word.

昨日の朝、テレビの星占いが最下位で、余計な一言に気をつけて、って言われて、「ラッキーアイテムはビーフシチューだって！」と言ってしまい家族が「久しぶりに食べたい！」と言って作る羽目になったのが、余計な一言だったと思う。
