Cicada

In the Tang dynasty, a poet, LI Shangyin , wrote a famous poem I like very much. Evening approaches finding my spirit indisposed, So I rode a buggy up the historic site. Sunset is ever so beautiful, Regrettably as dusk fades, impends night. This poem fully reflects the life of a cicada. During a life circle of a cicada, it spends 99.99 % of its life underground as a nymph. After emerging from the soil, it has less than a month left to live. A cicada has never known how warm the sun is in winter, how refreshing the air is in autumn and how prosperous everything is in spring. A cicada's life may be an epitome of our life. The most beautiful things are often the most fleeting.
