Trying to Find a Silver lining 良い事を探そうとする

It takes twenty minutes by bus from my parents' house to my father's nursing home.両親の家から父の老人ホームまではバスで２０分だ。 Only two buses are running per hour. 一時間に２本しかバスがない。 Therefore, I decided to have a forty-five-minute walk. なので、４５分歩くことにした。 I'm in a very difficult situation right now because I quit my job, I have to stay my parents' house to look after my mother, I have to find a new nursing home for my father. 今私は厳しい状況にある。仕事をやめ、母の世話をするために両親の家に居て、父の為に新しい施設を探さなくてはいけない。 However, I am trying to turn this situation into a bit positive one. しかし、この状況を少しポジティブにしようとしている。 There are many uphills and downhills on the way to the nursing home, so I can strengthen my legs. 施設までは、上り坂と下り坂がたくさんあるので、足を鍛えることができる。 Also, I listen to the BBC radio while I am walking. また歩きながらBBCのニュースを聞いている。 It felt strange to hear about the LA fire news while I am surrounded by tacky Japanese billboards in the rural area. LA火災のニュースを聞いて、人里離れた所でダサい日本語の看板に囲まれてると不思議な感じだ。
