When interacting with people on this platform, I noticed something unlikely to happen to native Japanese speakers, but likely to happen to Japanese learners.
Japanese learners often use emojis/emoticons after Japanese punctuation marks. However, I don’t think many Japanese people use emojis/emoticons in this way. I suppose this is because emojis/emoticons are originally used in texting, and we usually use emojis/emoticons instead of Japanese punctuation marks.
Of course, this is not a big deal. I just felt this could be an indicator to determine whether you’re a Japanese learner or not.
Have a nice weekend.
