Lunch with colleagues

Pin said in the meeting last Monday that because we had spent much money on several vendors, they gave us some coupons. Since the timing was near Dragon boat festival, our manager, Lily, decided that we use the coupon to order some drinks and fried chicken to celebrate the festival in advance. The company would also pay for the price that exceed the coupon amount. So, it literally was that company treats us a lunch. We chose the drink shop called Sugarcane mama who provides many sugarcane juice-related products. Because the drinks are made with sugarcane juice, the sweetness is fixed, and they are all very high! If you drink pure sugarcane juice, you will consume 70g sugar! I ordered the sugarcane fresh milk, which has 55g sugar. It tastes good and not too sweet, so I kind of like it. But, think of its calorie, I don’t think I will order it next time. I prepared some Taiwanese pickled cucumber to eat with the fried chicken, because I thought eating only fried chicken would be too greasy. We also had a lottery at the lunch time, and I got a Carrefour coupon! That was so useful! I used it right away to buy a bottle of gluten-free soy sauce.
