Japanese names are so unique (1)
Sorry for not posting for a while! I was busy and had gone for vacation during this time! I had been wanting to make this post for a long time, so here we go!
I feel that they are more unique than other countries names due to the amount of kanji you can put and the name can be up to 6 characters long! The first part of this post will be about Japanese family names.
When I see movies or tv shows, the credits usually show Japanese actors names and some family names can be really unique. There are the normal ones like “Sato” “Suzuki” “Takabashi” “saitoh” “nakagawa” and many more! I realised that the Japanese uses many place names for their family names like “Yama” “no” “ki” “Mori”. Do any of you guys know why is it like this? I really want to know. There are also more special names like actor “屋敷 紘子” which first name literally means “mansion” when I put it up on google translate. There is also “鵜殿 XX(X)” where there is only about 1,600 people in the whole Japan who has this first name! Even rarer is “湯脇” and where only 210 people has this kind of first name! Do you know whats the rarest first name in Japan? And do you know the history of your Japanese first name? Use 名字未来net to find out your history of your first name!
