I had been wanting to make this post for a long time, so here we go!  I feel that they are more unique than other countries names due to the amount of kanji you can put and the name can be up to 6 characters long! The first part of this post will be about Japanese family names.  When I see movies or tv shows, the credits usually show Japanese actors names and some family names can be really unique. There is also “鵜殿 XX(X)” where there is only about 1,600 people in the whole Japan who has this first name! Even rarer is “湯脇” and where only 210 people has this kind of first name!
