The pudding set also comes with a drink. My mother was so excited that they were going to whisk the matcha right in front of us that she pulled out her phone and started recording the entire process. The staff was surprised and laughed it off. I had a sip of the matcha and it was quite smooth with a hint of bitterness to it. The pudding was sliced in half and had a coffee and “milk” sauce. I personally liked the pudding pairing with the milk sauce as it was quite creamy and sweet with it. As for the coffee I felt that it was not really that appetising. When the staff came over and check in on us, we said that we saw a YouTube video about their cafe. Their reactions were hilarious and they wanted to know more about the channel and the video. I loved how they kept saying “sugoi!!!” It really made our day. There is also a lemon sorbet at the end of the meal that gives a refreshing taste and a hint of sourness after the heavy pudding. I would recommend this place whenever you visit Hakodate. Keep in mind it closes quite early at 5pm.
