Even street vendors selling vegetables have WeChat and Alipay QR codes for customers to choose and pay.[/h3] [h3]During the COVID-19 pandemic from 2020 to 2023, people worried about the risk of virus transmission through cash payments, and began using smartphones to make payments. It has persisted to this day. Some young people carry no cash and can complete their purchases with just a smartphone.[/h3] [h3]Using smartphones to pay is probably a Chinese specialty.[/h3]
