The Mount Sinai

The Bible says over seventy times that the Israelites went out of Egypt to Midian which would be mostly or entirely modern day Saudi Arabia. The Mount Sinai in Saudi Arabia is located in the northwest of Saudi Arabia. Researchers believe that Jabal al-Lawz is in line with the description of Mount Sinai in the Bible. Bible says that God descended upon Mount Sinai as a fire. Traditionally, it is widely believed that Mount Sinai is in the southern part of the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt. It is called "Mount Moses."  We were told that Mount Sinai, where Moses received the Ten Commandments, was located in Egypt. Mount Moses is sacred to Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Did you know that Moses was here? After Moses' death, there was no tomb for him. This was to prevent people from worshipping Moses. [cb]We have to worship God instead of Moses. So it doesn't matter which one is the real Mount Sinai.[/cb]
