Listening and Speaking

Many people struggle to understand English because they took the wrong first step. Their method is watching with subtitles, focusing on sentences and looking up words. This is called "visual-first approach". But English is an auditory-dominant language. The correct order should be: first listen to the original audio without subtitles. Write down what you hear, then compare it with the transcript to analyze your mistakes. Repeat the listening until you can form a clear picture in your mind. Speaking English is one of the best ways to improve your language skills. Even if you stumble at first, your mouth muscles are gradually adapting. The more you  speak, the more fluent and confident you become in using the language.
