Hodu, India

India is Hodu in the Bible. The biblical word Hodu refers to the Indus, a river that flows through modern-day Pakistan. India is a Southeast Asian country.  It is surrounded by water on three sides. There are different types of landscapes in India. The world's highest mountain range, the Himalaya, rises in north.  A desert lies in the west.    Jungles grow in the northeast.  India is home to many animals, and animals are treated with great respect.  cows, in particular, are even allowed to wande through city streets. Many traffic jams have been caused by their walks. There are hundreds of languages spoken in India, besides them, body language plays an important role in local life. In India, a head shake ussally means yes or thank you.  That is quite different from our customs. [cb]Since it was colonized by the British, English is widely spoken.[/cb] With a population of 1.429 billion, India is slightly ahead of China to become the world's most populous country.
