Today, let me share you about the Japanese phrase "～したものです."
One of my friends posted about the expression "眠っているもの."

This topic reminded me of the phrase.
Sometimes I use a website called ヤフー知恵袋. It's a Q and A site.
When I answer the user's question, I sometimes this phrase like this.
「私は、よく〇〇したものです」
Actually, this phrase are unclear because this sentence have two meanings as long as you don't use the Kanji character "者."
One is "I used to do...", the other is "I'm.../I'm a (the) person who..."
When we express the latter, I use the kanji character "者."
That was interesting to me.
