The Imperial Palace

For the first time, I went to the Imperial Palace in Tokyo yesterday. The place is one of the famous landmarks where consists on the buildings the family of Japanese emperor live, the ruin of the Edo castle and large gardens. Since it is located in the center of a business district, I kind of got an strange impression with natural views surrounded by many high buildings.  We could walk freely around the place and some parts of the inside, so I went for walking wrapped with the relaxing atomosphere for two hours. Anyway, it seemed to take about 13,000 steps, my foot hurts a little this morning.

皇居 昨日、東京にある皇居に初めて行ってきました。 そこは名所の一つで、天皇一家の住む建物、江戸城の跡地、広大な庭園などからなる場所です。 ビジネス区域の中心にあるので、自然の風景が多くの高層ビルに囲まれていてなんだか不思議な印象でした。 その周囲や内部の一部は自由に通行できるので、癒しの雰囲気に包まれながら2時間ほど散策してきました。 13000歩くらい歩いたようで今朝はちょっと足が痛いです。。
