Night View

An organization has reportedly released Japanese top three cities for night views, which are Kitakyushu, Yokohama and Nagasaki. It seemed to be the first time that Yokohama is ranked on the list. Although I have only visited Yokohama among those three, certainly it is the attractive place, not only for the night view, but also in the terms of shopping, gourmet and landmarks. Yokohama has an advantage that is located near Tokyo, so the number of visitors there might grow more from now now. Personally speaking, I recognize the attraction of night views in such big cities, but I also like the sky at night in countryside with being able to see a lot of stars.

夜景 ある団体によると日本の三大夜景都市として北九州、横浜、長崎が発表されたそうです。 横浜がその中に選ばれるのは始めてなんだとか。 私はその中で横浜にしか行ったことがありませんが、確かに夜景だけではなく買い物、グルメ、観光名所といった点でも魅力的な町です。 横浜は東京に近いという利点もあるので、観光客は今後もますます増えるかもしれませんね。 個人的に、そういった大都市の夜景の魅力も分かりますが、たくさん星が見える田舎の夜空も好きです。
