After walking 20 minutes, we found a puddle.  She stopped to drink and then laid down in the mud to cool off and rest. It was not a hot day, but she still needed to rest and pant. The little dog saw the truck 300 meters away and ran toward the truck. The beagle smelled a deer in the dirt again (we never saw a deer during the whole trip) and stopped to investigate. Finally, I decided to go to the truck, load the one dog, and drive back to get the beagle. In the car, our dogs need to rest.
