美国人有太多钱（温故而知新）

修正版： 美国人有太多钱，费钱 今天早上很冷，0°C。我不想在外面散步。然后我在沃尔玛散步了。这个城市的沃尔玛很大。我逛了一个小时。 $1.00 = ￥7.3 元人民币 = 147.5 日本円。 美国人有太多钱。在沃尔玛我看到了： 2 升糖水 = $20；糖水是蜂鸟的饭。 3 磅的彩色沙子可供玩耍 = $10 （1.36公斤）；孩子玩彩色沙子。 It was freezing outside this morning, but I still wanted to walk for exercise.  So, I walked at Walmart.  Walmart is glad to allow people to walk for exercise in their stores because people will also buy things (I spent $25 on two frying pans).  We have a very large Walmart store, so I was able to walk down the aisles for an hour and didn't cover even half the store.  Americans waste money.  Would you pay $20 for two liters of sugar water?  Apparently, Americans will.  It is labeled as hummingbird food, but it is mostly sugar and water; they might add a few vitamins.  I also saw an interesting toy.  It had molds so that a child could use colored sand and form it into small blocks.  The toy cost $20.  Three pound bags of extra sand cost $10.  Who would pay such outrageous prices?  Americans it seems will do that!  We feed the hummingbirds but we mix sugar and water to fill the feeders.  I'm not about to pay $20 for two liters of sugar water!  As for sand, when my children were small, I made a two meter square box of wood and filled it with probably two square meters of sand!  I did not pay $10 for every 3 pounds of sand because the sand probably weight 300 pounds.
